Eco Friendly on Yao Noi Island
Cho Fah Residence
It was our first trip to Yao Noi Island and we were excited for a little getaway over Easter weekend. Yao Noi Island is a thirty minute speed boat ride from Phuket. Bags packed and off we go!
Cho Fah Residence
We looked for a Villa with a pool to stay at and Cho Fah Residence peaked our interest, not only did it look amazing from the pictures on the website but it talked about being Eco Friendly.
Courtyard Entrance to Cho Fah Residence
Once on the island we grabbed a local taxi and about a twenty minute ride we arrived at the villa.
As we approached Cho Fah it had a clean and contemporary look. The courtyard entrance with the weathered wood doors welcomed you.
Greeting us as we arrived was the host of Cho Fah Khun Mhee.
Host Khun Mhee
Khun Mhee has this infectious smile and the type of person you feel comfortable with right away. She gave us quick tour of the Villa talking about the Eco Friendly aspect of the property. Whatever we can do for you let us know we are here to make your stay great she said.

This three bedroom pool villa offers an exceptional value for the Island. Comparable villas on the island cost much more than this villa. Pricing for Cho Fah Residence is from 350 to 800 usd depending on the time of year. Similar two bedroom pool villas at Six Senses start at 900 usd to well over 1,000 usd depending on the season. Other villas in the area also run around 30 percent higher as well.
We appreciate that the owner has built an amazing villa while still caring about the Carbon Footprint of the planet. The villa runs mainly on solar power and the use of natural products are evident through out.
Unfortunately we had to head for home, but we did not say goodbye.... We said until next time as we definately will be back.....
